As a paraplegic, finding the right mobility aid is invaluable for leg use. I have a strong aversion to wheelchairs. Previously, I was a dedicated runner, clocking in 5 miles at least four times weekly. This rollator has been instrumental in increasing my activity levels. It has prevented falls due to balance issues and encourages the use of my less cooperative leg. It’s an irreplaceable tool in my 34-year journey.
This walker is aesthetically pleasing; however, my balance issues necessitate a four-wheeled model. The front wheel pivots freely with each step, compromising stability. Sadly, I had to return this otherwise stylish walker.
The rollator’s vibrant red finish is appealing. I’ve customized the basket with cardboard to create a level surface for carrying items. Its large wheels offer excellent maneuverability, and it’s compact enough to navigate tight spaces. Although lightweight and easily storable behind a car seat, this three-wheeler operates differently from a four-wheeled model and isn’t recommended as an initial rollator. The brakes could be improved, as they don’t fully prevent movement. A change in the wheel tread pattern from circular to crosshatch might be beneficial.
My wife requires a walker, and her four-wheeled Drive model works well except when traveling. I own a Fiat 500/Abarth, and the four-wheeler barely fits in the back. When accompanied by our standard poodle, space becomes an issue. The three-wheeled model, however, can be stored vertically against the rear side window, leaving ample room for the dog. We appreciate its lighter weight and foldability. For stability and seating, she prefers the four-wheeler for everyday use, except during outings.
This mobility aid is exactly what I needed. It’s lightweight, easy to transport, and fits into tight spaces. The height is adjustable, and it comes with a convenient carry bag for personal items. It has enabled me to walk longer distances and has been a boon to my health. I highly recommend it!
I hesitated to open the package in the hallway, anticipating a tiring setup process. To my surprise, it was incredibly quick and simple. The rollator even has a sleek, Ferrari-like appearance. I’m very thankful.
I chose this rollator for indoor use. My home, built in 1928, has doorways only slightly wider than a four-wheeled model, leading to constant scraping. A tray attachment would be a useful addition. Currently, I must rely on others to carry items for me or risk placing them in the bag’s bottom and hoping for no spills.
